Dans ce récit, Boubacar Ndiaye se met à la place de celles qui attendent le retour de leurs enfants ou de leur mari partis à la poursuite d’un idéal.

Dans l’attente d’un retour qui s’éternise, ou simplement de nouvelles, surgissent les questionnements sur ce qui fait finalement le bonheur ou la réussite.

Depuis 2013, Voyage sans Visa a été joué à de très nombreuses reprises en France, auprès de publics variés, mais aussi aux États-Unis et au Brésil. La thématique de l’exil, dans un monde en crise, est plus que jamais brûlante. À travers ce spectacle , Boubacar l'aborde dans toute sa complexité.

Ce spectacle est modulable et peut être présenté en solo ou accompagné de musiciens : Baye Cheikh Mbaye aux percussions, et Barbara Lamothe au violon, à l’accordéon et au chant.

Leaving in search of a better future – for oneself and for the family left behind at home.

In this story, Boubacar Ndiaye puts himself in the shoes of those women who await the return of their children or husband who have set off in pursuit of an ideal.

Whilst waiting for a return that seems to drag on forever, or simply for news, questions arise about what ultimately constitutes happiness or success.

Since 2013, Voyage sans Visa has been performed on numerous occasions in France, to a wide variety of audiences, as well as in the United States and Brazil. The theme of exile, in a world in crisis, is more pressing than ever. Through this show, Boubacar explores it in all its complexity.

This show is flexible and can be performed as a solo act or accompanied by musicians: Baye Cheikh Mbaye on percussion, and Barbara Lamothe on violin, accordion and vocals.
